The wait is finally over. Please welcome a Cognac created by YOU, the Cognac Expert community. In order to create this Cognac, we asked our most discerning customers and community members to vote on every aspect of production. Via our Cognac Lovers Facebook group and Instagram page, you were responsible for selecting this Cognac’s growth area, taste, ABV (alcohol volume), price, name, design, and you even directed the trailer.
Without further ado, allow us to present to you the final product and design. This is your opportunity to own our first-ever crowdfunded Cognac. Imaginé is a completely unique release and we will only produce what we pre-sell. Once this edition is finished, it will be gone forever.

Honest, jewel-like amber in the glass, no red. First nose is fruit with some citrus; the nose becomes broader with time, still fruity, but richer with less citrus. 43% abv jumps right out with the first taste, less fruit than the nose, tastes younger than 20 years, sweeter with each sip, more red...

Colour: light amber Bouquet: initially warm spice and oak, softening to citrus orange Taste: citrus , nutmeg, oak and tobacco Overall impression: EXCELLENT purchase for the money. I purchased one bottle initially not sure if I would like it. Ordered 2 more bottles afterwards... very glad I did.

Introducing our first-ever crowdfunded Cognac – created by YOU and produced by the world-renowned artisans of Cognac Prunier. Here at Cognac Expert the cognac community is very important and the opinions of our loyal customers are the ones that we value the most. In the same way, the strong sense of community found across the Cognac region is what has kept the industry going for so many years.
So we put out a poll to our most discerning Cognac customers and members of our community via our Cognac Lovers Facebook group and Instagram page to find out what you value most in a Cognac. With the results in, we're now launching a pre-sale of the product made up of your chosen Cognac features, which will fund the production and allow the bottles to be shipped out to you when the process is complete.
We only produce what we pre-sell, then this edition will never be available again. This is a unique release.

We took to the social media community to find out your preferences when it comes to the terroir, taste, age, ABV and price of your ideal Cognac – letting everyday Cognac aficionados take the reins, with the opportunity to select all of the product's features.
We also threw out the potential name ideas for you to play with, and although the results came back fairly split, Cognac Imaginé stole the title of this crowdfunded masterpiece in the making.
Growth Area: The survey results confirm that the Grande Champagne (as predicted) takes the lead as the Premier Cru and firm favorite terroir.
Taste: Cognac enthusiasts are most partial to a fruity aromatic expression as opposed to woody, floral and spicy tasting notes.
ABV: The stronger, the better, they say – since the poll came back with most preferring their Cognac with ABV of 45- 49%.
Price: Last but not least, much of the community agreed that, above all, the price matters the least, as most value finding an outstanding Cognac first and foremost and then considering the price later.
